From humble beginnings in the year 1988, founder and Managing Director of Russel’s Group of Companies, Mr. Russel Perera, embarked on his long journey of success when he started providing a tea service to a reputed bank, this paved the way to new beginnings with the pioneering of tea service in Sri Lanka, which resulted in the founding of the Russel’s Group of companies as it is known today.

Russel’s (Pvt) Limited isn’t your ordinary forward thinking establishment; we’re a whole lot more than just that! We believe in letting the actions of our past shape the numerous roads to what lies ahead in the future, a future that we ultimately deem fit in taking this company to much greater heights. Diversification plays a key role in our strategy to tackle and capitalize on the many challenges that come our way, as we march forward together with resilience to take on new ventures and convert it into something that benefits us as an organization and the society as a whole.

As a proud tea supplier to the local market with an impeccable record of over 33 years in service excellence, Russel’s Group of Companies undoubtedly takes the spot as one of Sri Lanka’s most reputed organizations today. Having started operations in the year 1988; by Managing Director Mr. Russel Perera; with a simple workforce of 25 people, our strengths have grown in numbers over the years as we now stand strong with a well-trained team of over 200 employees.

Our superior service range goes beyond tea, and onto catering as well, hence being renowned for our flavor and exquisite taste among multiple leading organizations in Sri Lanka. Having made our name in the local market of Sri Lanka, especially in the Tea industry, Russel’s Group of Companies holds a promising future ahead as we continue to set our horizons on newer business opportunities-under the wisdom and guidance of Mr. Russel Perera himself.
